Emil & Friends is the recording guise of prolific, party-hardy prodigy - teenage Bostonite Emil Hewitt. Not sure whom exactly his friends are, but on the evidence of his silken patchwork tapestries of cough syrup sipping, bass-drunk, busy bedroom funk and morning-coming melancholic, cut’n’shut, computer-consoled soul grooves, there’s little doubt that the man must never be short of things to do on a Saturday night.
