Today Cate has announced her fourth album, ‘Crab Day’, to be released via Turnstile on April 15 2016.

Cate says of the record:
“Crab Day was lovingly formed in the mouth of the Pacific Ocean, as it quietly mocked us with its magnitude, in April of last year . It’s the sound of the accidentally on purpose coming together of the right people at precisely the right time in an environment that furnished and fueled the abandonment we felt effortlessly. It’s a coalition of inescapable feelings and fabricated nonsense, each propping the other up.
Crab Day is an old holiday. Crab Day is a new holiday. Crab Day isn’t a holiday at all”

Visit the brand new Cate Le Bon website to purchase exclusive album pre-order bundles and to buy advance tickets for some just announced shows, where Cate will be backed by Los Angeles semi-experimental, semi-improvisational music ensemble Banana. Limited tickets go on general sale on Friday 29th January, but grab your pre-order now to guarantee a ticket.
(North American pre=order via Drag City will be available in the coming days)
