Ducktails
Matthew Modanile is a busy man. His role in the beyond great, dusty-fingered, good vibrations jam band Real Estate merely sees him moonlighting – his lonesome work under the Ducktails moniker proving his main concern up to now. The latter’s full length LP has just arrived this week on Not Not Fun and is perfectly timed, replete as it is with sweltering, slo-mo psych-surf loops and burnt out butterfly-winged pop miniatures.
