Girls – UK and Europe Tour and New Single
San Francisco duo Girls are pleased to announce their first UK headline tour. The eleven date tour will be the band’s second visit to the UK, following a series of rapturously-received debut shows earlier this year. The shows, which will see Girls’ core duo of Christopher Owens and Chet JR White bolstered to a live four piece by guitarist John Anderson and drummer Garret Godard, will be bookended by a special album release show at London’s Lexington on 21st September and an appearance at Cardiff’s SWN Festival on 23rd October.
Girls are also pleased to announce the release of brilliant new single ‘Lust For Life’ on 7th September through Fantasytrashcan / Turnstile. Taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album – titled ‘Album’ and released on 21st September – ‘Lust For Life’ is 2 minutes 23 seconds of gloriously melodic, frazzled West Coast pop.
